Care that keeps your Stessia hair beautiful for a long time.

100 % real Remy human hair needs a mindful routine. Gentle detangling, dry roots, little friction and controlled heat help preserve shine, movement and softness for as long as possible.

With suitable care and use, the hair can be re-fitted several times and worn for up to two years. The actual life span remains individual and is not a blanket guarantee.

FIRST THINGS FIRST

Four rules that count every day.

A simple routine protects both the hair lengths and the attachment.

Detangle gently

Hold the bonds firmly and work your way up from the ends through the lengths. Never brush with tension at the roots.

Wash in the direction of growth

Let water and care products flow downward through the hair. Do not swirl, rub or pile up the lengths.

Control heat

Use heat protection and moderate temperatures. Keep the flat iron and curling iron away from the microrings.

Sleep dry

Only go to bed with completely dry hair and protect the lengths with a loose, low braid.

Woman gently caring for her long hair at the sink

Getting clean without stressing the lengths.

Before: Gently detangle the dry hair and check that no knots are sitting close to the bonds.

When washing: Clean your scalp gently with your fingertips. Let the lather and water flow through the lengths in the direction of growth, without rubbing.

Care: Conditioner or mask belongs on the lengths and ends – not directly on the microrings or roots. Rinse out thoroughly afterward.

Woman carefully drying and brushing long blonde hair

The roots dry completely first.

Squeeze out excess water with a soft towel. Do not rub or twist.

First dry your scalp, the attachments and the area between the rows completely. Then guide the airflow downward through the lengths.

Heat protection is distributed through the lengths. Use a flat iron and curling iron only at a moderate temperature and never guide them directly over microrings or wefts.

Woman loosely braiding her long dry hair before sleeping

Less friction, less matting.

Detangle your hair before you sleep and tie it loosely in a low ponytail or braid a loose plait. This protects the lengths from unnecessary friction.

Never sleep with damp roots. Wetness and movement can encourage knots and put unnecessary strain on the bonds.

Secure the lengths loosely before sports or swimming. Rinse with clear water after salt or chlorinated water and dry the roots and attachments completely.

STORAGE & REUSE

This keeps the weft ready for its next use.

Clean storage and an honest condition check matter just as much as daily care.

Store dry

After removal, dry the hair completely, detangle it and store it flat or hanging and protected. Avoid moisture and direct sunlight.

Check beforehand

Check the hair, the weft edge and the openings before every re-fitting. Damaged parts are not used again.

Check microrings

Intact rings can be used again depending on their condition. Deformed, loose or damaged microrings are replaced.

Frequently asked questions about care.

The key answers for everyday wear, wash day and reuse.

How often should I wash Stessia extensions?

Wash them as often as your scalp and everyday life require, but no more often than necessary. What matters is less a fixed interval than a gentle technique and drying the roots and attachments completely.

Which care products are suitable?

Use a mild cleanser and a nourishing conditioner for the lengths that rinses out well. Rich masks and oils belong only on the lengths and ends, not directly on microrings or wefts. If you are unsure, the Stessia product advice will help you.

Can I swim or do sports with the extensions?

Yes. Secure the lengths loosely beforehand, avoid tension on the bonds and rinse out salt or chlorinated water with clear water afterward. Then dry your scalp and the attachments completely.

Can I sleep with damp extensions?

No. Before you sleep, your scalp, the attachments and the lengths must be completely dry. Moisture combined with friction can encourage knots and additional strain.

Is a durability of up to two years guaranteed?

No. Up to two years are possible with suitable care and use. The actual life span depends on care, heat, friction, hair structure, how you wear it and how often it is re-fitted, among other factors.

REUSE INSTEAD OF REPLACE

Ready for a re-fitting?

Once the bonds have grown out, the microrings are opened in a controlled way, the weft is moved back up and closed flat again.
