How to Find Your Matching Stessia Hair Color

Updated

A good color match makes your own hair and the extensions look like one. What matters is not just the roots but above all the color in the lengths and ends.

Compare in daylight

Stand close to a window, avoid direct sun, and switch off warm bathroom lighting. Photograph the hair without filters.

Judging the right area

Hold the shade against the mid-lengths and ends. The roots may differ slightly, because the extensions are applied underneath.

Reading the color samples

  • Dark: deep, mostly even shades.
  • Light: bright color tones and defined highlights.
  • Balayage & Rooted: multi-tone gradients or a deliberately darker root area.

If you are between two colors

Multi-dimensional blends often look more natural than a single tone that is too flat. For colored, porous, or strongly shifting hair we recommend daylight photos and personal advice.
