Compare in daylight
Stand close to a window, avoid direct sun, and switch off warm bathroom lighting. Photograph the hair without filters.
Judging the right area
Hold the shade against the mid-lengths and ends. The roots may differ slightly, because the extensions are applied underneath.
Reading the color samples
- Dark: deep, mostly even shades.
- Light: bright color tones and defined highlights.
- Balayage & Rooted: multi-tone gradients or a deliberately darker root area.
If you are between two colors
Multi-dimensional blends often look more natural than a single tone that is too flat. For colored, porous, or strongly shifting hair we recommend daylight photos and personal advice.
